Having obtained the business license, Faqir Wahab Group of Companies commenced its commercial activities in 1993. In the beginning, the company would import around ten containers per month of cooking oil from the neighboring country of Pakistan to meet the needs of its countrymen by supplying them with cooking oil through its agencies throughout the country.

With the passage of time and repatriation of Afghan Refugees from the neighboring countries and the increase in population, the company increased the quantity of its cooking oil imports. To import quality cooking oil in greater quantities, the Faqir Wahab Group of Companies contacted various cooking oil manufacturing companies. Based on the demand of its customers, the company imported quality cooking oils by the name of Wahab, Bostan, Maiwand, Muneer, and Kul in for 18 years from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Dubai, Turkey, Pakistan, and several other countries. The company imported the cooking oil.
